Does clean water help Goldfish/Koi grow better?

I have a pond and its literaly crystal clear, like looks just like drinking water. The pond is about 350-400 gallons. I just wanna know if its good that I have it this clean. I use a big Laguna filter and a UAV steralizer. So would this clean water help make my common goldfish and koi grow quicker and are they gunna be healthy with this water. Thx Mat.
