Why don't the yankees sign Armando Galarraga?

Something's confusing me. On the diamondbacks, he had an fantastically marvelous record, an absolutely double dog fabulous ERA, a magnificently awesome number of strikeouts, and a very scarce/rare amount of walks and runs given up. Although he gave up a couple home runs this season, he could still send the ball blazing over the plate like a rocket. This was evidenced by his near perfect game last year. Cashman, sign him!
