My cat turned out to be a girl! identification crisis!?

about a month ago i went to walmart, nothing special right, but as i was leaving, this guy in the parking lot asked me if i wanted a kitten and i looked at them and he told me which was the boy and girl i declined. and i looked back after i was already near my car and he was gone and these two kittens were left in a walmart shopping cart, i couldnt leave them there so i took the one he told me was a boy while someone else was contemplating taking the girl, well a few days ago i examined the kitten, turns out its a female, the problem here is i had already named it. a boy name, his name is armando, and i dont feel right changing his name just cuz he has a vagina, this is a serious question, should i or should i not change his name?
