Where can I buy auto paint in a spray can?

I'm wondering where I can buy auto paint in a spray can, like spray paint that would be used on a car. Its not actually for a car, but it works best for the project I will be doing. Could I find this somewhere like Ace or Home Depot? Most specifically, I'm looking for a matte color which I assume is pretty tough to find. What would the cost be?
